This is a poster I designed for a club event called “Warp Fest”, which celebrates the work of artists under the Warp Records label, which grew out of a record shop in Sheffield in 1989, notable for discovering some of the most enduring artists in electronic music. As Warp musicians push the boundary of music, I experimented graphically by pushing the boundary of type and shapes, mixing and distorting in a manner of electronic music.
